Nuevos avances en el diagnostico de la Tuberculosis Pulmonar .4

Múltiples investigaciones han mejorado el diagnóstico de tuberculosis y otras están en desarrollo. Una sola prueba, recientemente fue aprobada por la OMS, que tiene el potencial para lograr una revolución en el diagnóstico de tuberculosis en enfermos activos y (MDR) TB: GeneXpert® MTB/RIF, la cual aun debido a su elevado coste no ha podido generalizarse al mundo en vías de desarrollo.
